This is a Group “B” post. Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent. Proficiency in the local language prescribed by the participating RRB is essential, while working knowledge of computers is desirable.
Officer Scale-I – Assistant Manager –
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent. Preference is given to candidates with degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, IT, Management, Law, Economics, Accountancy and related fields. Local-language proficiency and working computer knowledge are also specified.
Officer Scale-II – General Banking Officer –

Officer Scale-II – Specialist Posts –

Officer Scale-II & III –
The Single Online Examination contains 200 marks for General Banking Officer and Scale-III. Specialist Officer examinations have a different structure and include Professional Knowledge along with other subjects.
Negative Marking –
There is a 0.25 mark penalty for every wrong answer in the Preliminary, Main and Single Online Examinations.
No penalty is imposed for questions left unanswered.
Interview –
The interview is conducted only for Officer Scale-I, II and III candidates.
The interview carries 100 marks, with minimum qualifying marks of 40% for general candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. The final weightage of Online Examination and Interview is 80:20.
