GSRTC Helper Application Fee
Candidates have to pay the combined online examination process fee through OJAS.

- Reserved Category: ₹200 + applicable GST
The reserved fee category includes women candidates, EWS, SEBC, SC, ST, Divyang and ex-servicemen candidates as specified in the notification. The fee is non-refundable.

GSRTC Helper Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed at least one relevant trade course from a Government-recognised ITI.
The accepted trades listed in the notification include:

The candidate must have passed at least one of the prescribed trades.
Additional Qualification / Preference
Candidates who have completed apprenticeship in the same ITI trade may receive additional weightage. The apprenticeship must be completed in the same trade as the minimum qualification, and the notification requires the relevant NCVT certificate and marksheet.
For example, an ITI Electrician candidate who has completed apprenticeship in Electrician trade can claim this additional qualification benefit. Apprenticeship in a different trade will not qualify for this preference.
Age Limit
The minimum age is 18 years.
For the regular category, the maximum age is:

- General Female: 40 years
- Reserved Male: 40 years
- Reserved Female: 45 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 45 years
- Divyang: 45 years
The age is considered as on the last date of application, 6 October 2026. The notification also provides additional age relaxations in applicable categories, subject to the maximum limits specified in the recruitment rules.
GSRTC Helper Salary 2026
Selected candidates will initially receive a fixed salary of ₹21,100 per month for five years on a contractual/fixed-pay basis.
After completing five years of satisfactory service, candidates may become eligible for regular appointment in the Helper cadre at the prevailing basic pay applicable under GSRTC rules.
GSRTC Helper Selection Process
The selection process includes a 100-mark MCQ-based examination. Depending on GSRTC’s decision, the examination may be conducted through OMR or CBRT.
